Reflecting On Our Adventures
As we near the end of another year we start making plans for the year ahead and all that awaits us. But this week I asked the team to reflect on the year behind us and of their wonderful travel experiences. Below they share those memories along with tips for your next adventure.

What was your favorite trip in 2024?
Peru
What was one unexpected experience from that trip?
We took a Pisco Sour making class and it was a blast! I learned that shaking two containers at once is harder than it looks!
Are there any lessons learned or tips to share with our readers?
Eat all of the food! Every meal we had was fresh, flavorful and delicious. I even ventured out and tried a few new seafood dishes that ended up being amazing!

What was one unexpected experience from that trip?
Taking in a high tea at one of the city's oldest hotels. I could not believe how much food we were served. Finger sandwiches, endless desserts and biscuits to end the experience. We were stuffed for hours!
Are there any lessons learned or tips to share with our readers?
Always ask for the upgrade! Our hotel room was delayed by nearly two hours after the posted check in time and we asked for an upgrade to make it right. We ended up with a gorgeous view of Big Ben out our window and free access to the Executive lounge for our trip (hello free afternoon cocktails).

What was one unexpected experience from that trip?
Making memories of a lifetime with my best friend and our daughters going to the Taylor Swift Era Tour concert. I couldn't believe that she performed for a straight 3 plus hours. My feet were sore for days just dancing by my seat, I can't even imagine how she does this multiple nights in a row and working the whole stage in those gorgeous boots! It was worth every bit of it!

What was one unexpected experience from that trip?
Watching one of my best friends win a gold medal for Team USA. It was an unforgettable moment!

Always embrace the unexpected. Some of the most memorable moments happen when things don't go as planned. If you're ever in France, don't be afraid to take the train for some day trips. There are so many beautiful owns to explore!
