Our Team's Wrapping Essentials - Playlist & Beverage Choice Included

We have all been there: staring at a pile of gifts that just won't wrap themselves. As anything in the Holiday season, things can either be magical... or stressful. Let's go for the former! Our team has given their input on their wrapping essentials while they wrap, and together, we have created the Ultimate Wrapping Playlist to hum along to (or belt, no judgement!) and a few cozy bevvys to enjoy while getting into the Holiday spirit.

Jess, co-founder: Growing up, Christmas always meant it was time to break out the holiday CD’s. A Gene Autry Christmas and  Merry Christmas from London by Lorrie Morgan are two that always bring back the warmth and excitement of the Season.  There’s something special about setting both of those albums to the playlist while I decorate the tree with my family.

Benita, co-founder: (There’s no place like home) For the Holidays  by Perry Como will always be a top favorite. I have now lived in Florida for almost half of my life but PA will always be home to me.  That song brings back all of my childhood Christmas memories in an instant. I remember thinking how cool it was that it specifically calls out Pennsylvania in the lyrics. Add in anything Bing Crosby and I can feel the magic of the Christmas spirit come to life!

Kaley, wholesale manager: Run Rudolph Run by Chuck Berry reminds me of my favorite holiday/childhood movie, Home Alone. This was the movie that would bring the family together and start the holiday season. I play this song now when I start to decorate to get me in the spirit.

Rachel, community manager: Although a bit cliché, I always knew it was Christmas time when my 6’5” big brother would start belting Mariah Carey at the top of his lungs. My family members are also very big Bruce Springsteen fans, so his rendition of Santa Claus is coming to town was also played at least a hundred times each year! Throw in a little Bing Crosby, Elvis, & Amy Grant, and we were set.

Holiday Sips!

Jess, co-founder: After a recent trip to Portugal, we have a ton of Port we brought back to share with our family and friends.  We’re mixing up this Yuletide Grog with port and rum to help make spirits bright!

Benita, co-founder: We started a tradition with our daughter of setting up a hot chocolate bar on Christmas Eve.  We put all kinds of goodies out to add in but her favorite combo is mini marshmallows with whipped cream, sprinkles and a squirt of caramel.

Kaley, wholesale manager: For me there is nothing better than apple cider this time of year. Whether cold or warmed with a touch of whiskey, it never fails to put me in the holiday spirit.

Rachel, community manager: The past few years, we have gotten into making our own mulled wine! Although a little funky at first, we think we have hit the perfect balance of spice, sweetness, and warmth. Not to brag, but I can also definitely make a mean hot chocolate - secret is a dash of vanilla powder and cinnamon! :)
