DREAM DESTINATIONS: The Dreamsoft Travel Scarf Goes To The Keys

We caught up with co-founder Benita to learn more about her recent trip to the Florida Keys.

Why the Keys?

Even though I’ve lived in Florida for over 20 years, we’ve never been to the Keys. It was a fun and easy staycation for the whole family.  We actually got to help my brother-in-law and his fiancé finalize wedding plans for their destination wedding in Marathon next Spring!

Most Delicious meal or snack? 

This is a toss up between The Upside Down Pineapple cake at the Isla Bella resort and the Scallops at the Lighthouse Grill. The kids also loved the Paletas by Paradise Flavors we found at Lazy Days. 

One must-do activity for anyone who makes the trip?

Sunset photos are a must.  You can pretty much get an amazing view anywhere you are in the Keys.  Our favorite views were from the pier at the Lighthouse Grill and basically any spot at the Isla Bella Resort. The golden hour there is pure magic.  As for a family event, we all loved the family splash experience at the Dolphin Research Center.
